A six-story hotel-condo development surrounding the historic Cedars Inn on Seventh Avenue between North Church and Buncombe streets won the endorsement of the Hendersonville Planning Board, moving the ambitious project one step closer to final approval.

The property owners and architect Tamara Peacock have submitted an ambitious plan to renovate the historic Cedars event space and add a new hotel and condo development around it at the corner of North Church Street and Seventh Avenue West.

The Biltmore Hotel will open its doors December of 2018 with reservations available beginning December 1, 2018.
